Welcome to The Beard Contest!

Closeup photos to be taken and submitted every 7 days, starting with a clean shaven shot on Nov 1st.

- Please use Date and Time stamping on your camera
- No digital editing/touching up of photograph
- No artificial growth or thickening product is permitted
- Trimming, shaping, shaving permitted at any time.
- Please use same/similar backdrop, and lighting for all pictures
- The contest will run from 11/1/07 to 7pm on 12/20/07 (to allow time to compile final photos and start judging component.

Judging:
Each contestant will be judged from a scale of 0-10 (10 being the best) on the following scales.

Style
Shape
Cleanliness
Color
Datability

The contestant with the highest score after the end of the contest will be dubbed to have the "Ultimate Beard"

There will also be three side awards:
Best Lumberjack
Best Terrorist
Best Porno 'stash

Polling for the "Ultimate Beard winner" will be open starting at the begining of week 6 (December 13th) and continue until midnight on December 21st. Winners will be announced shortly there after, with updated pictures during/after the holidays.

Polling for the side awards will continue throughout the contest, ending 7pm on December 20th and will be tallied and awarded that evening!

All judging will be online and anonymous, please try to adhere to the honor system and do not attempt to skew the votes!
